Remaining Unique

Some local children’s classes will not allow parents or carers, involved in running other children’s classes or businesses themselves, to attend their sessions for fear of ideas being copied and used elsewhere.

At The Music Train we would not wish to detriment any individual child by not allowing them to attend. However, we feel it is of the utmost importance that groups remain distinct and unique in style, content and materials, so that there remains a real choice for parents with distinct and different groups available to them in their local area.

In order to ensure this, we require that all parents and carers bringing a child to The Music Train® classes, and therefore using our services, are bound to our User Agreement. If you do not agree to be bound by this User Agreement, you may not use or access our services. The User Agreement describes the terms and conditions applicable to your use of our services.

User Agreement

By attending classes you and any of your guests are agreeing not to use any of The Music Train® inventions (including but not exclusively, lesson structures, lessons plans, lesson arrangements or other formats even if there is some reordering of these structures, plans etc., methods of teaching, activities, songs, props and materials) in schools, commercial or voluntary groups unless you have express written permission from Andrea Lee. This expresses in writing what has always been implied, which means that any past attendance of The Music Train® classes or activities is equally covered by this agreement. If you do not agree to be bound by this User Agreement, you may not use or access our services.

Refunds for Cancelled Classes

If a teacher has to cancel classes, he/she will endeavour to reschedule a make-up session. If this is not practical, a full refund will be offered. The exception to this is when the cancellation is because of weather conditions preventing the teacher from travelling (eg snow) or if running the class could endanger the health of those attending eg in the case of an epidemic of illness or pandemic. In these cases, no refunds will be made.

Safeguarding and Privacy for Music Train @ Home Online Sessions

  • By joining the session you agree to be part of a live video call and will be visible to others in the group – unless you choose to be unseen.
  • Please make sure that you are happy with Zoom’s privacy policy before joining. https://zoom.us/privacy.
  • In joining the group you agree to supervise your children at all times while they are on a live video call.
  • There should always be a parent/carer visible on screen with the child Please make sure that you and your child are fully clothed if you are enabling video.
  • To maximise security for your family, we operate a waiting room and password system to ensure only those pre-registered join our group.
  • We also disable recording of the session.


We may occasionally amend these terms and conditions. By continuing to use our services you agree to accept these changes and you should check them each time you book classes as they are binding on you.
