Louise trained and worked initially as an actress, during which time she gained a London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art Teaching Diploma. Subsequently she produced radio and television commercials for a London Advertising Agency before taking a break to bring up her two children. Louise has taught Music Train classes for the past ten years and has also obtained a Montessori Teaching Diploma. Music seems to run in the family as her 12 year old daughter is a Chorister at Lincoln Cathedral and has recently passed her grade 5 violin and grade two piano examinations with merit and her grade 4 singing examination with distinction. Her 17 year old son was awarded a major music scholarship to Stowe School, Bucks and has recently passed his grade eight piano and singing examinations and grade 6 organ exam all with distinction and is studying for his grade eight french horn examination. |

Summer Term 2010 ClassesTERM DATES: Monday 26th April - Monday 26th July 2010 with a break for half term w/c 31st May 2010. There will be no classes on Monday 3rd May as this is a Bank Holiday.
April/May 2010: General Topic - Children's TV Characters Advanced Topic - Peter and the Wolf Families joining our classes for the very first time are invited to try a single session before deciding whether or not they wish to sign up for the rest of the term. If you do wish to join for the term, an additional £5 registration fee is charged for families that have never previously attended. This is only ever charged once per family and future siblings do not need to pay a registration fee. The fee covers the cost of the welcome pack consisting of a welcome booklet and one child's T-shirt. Additional T-shirts can be purchased for £3. Autumn Term 2010 ClassesTERM DATES: Monday 6th September - Saturday 11th December 2010 with a break for half term w/c 25th October 2010.

Cancelled classes We regret that if classes have to be cancelled due to force majeure such as snow, or on specific medical advice because of the risk posed by swine flu, they cannot be refunded. LocationClasses are held at The Backhouse Rooms, Handside Lane, AL8 6SZ. You will need to look for an old timber building (approximately 300 years old) with a car park enclosed by a flint wall. It is on the same side of Handside Lane as the turning for Applecroft Road. (The opposite side to The Barn Theatre and just slightly further South). There is a designated car park and free road side parking. |
