Ros started teaching Hitchin classes in January 2006. She is classically trained in violin, piano and singing. As well as teaching for The Music Train, she also works for the Hertfordshire County Music Service as a Secondary School violin teacher and teaches singing in Primary Schools as part of the new National Singing Strategy "Sing Up!". Ros also performs regularly in concerts.

Ros used to sing with the BBC choir when she was working with them as Second Assistant Director.

Music is very much in the family. Ros' husband is a peripatetic saxophone teacher. Her youngest son, aged 12 is Head Chorister of St Mary's Church Choir, Hitchin, and plays guitar to Grade 5 standard. Her 14 year old son is a Bishop's Chorister and plays the drums to Grade 4 and piano.

Ros is also available to run Music Train Birthday Parties in the local area. Please phone her directly for information about this service or alternatively call Terrie Skulteti (our Party Manager) on 01438 232593.
