	email hayley.ayres@musictrain.co.uk Hayley attended The Music Train clases in Hertfordshire with her older son before relocating to Cornwall in 2008. She loved her experience with The Music Train so much that when she found there were no similar classes in her local area, she contacted us to ask to train as a teacher and to take the classes to her new local area. Music is very much in Hayley's family. She played the piano to Grade 7 and the trumpet to Grade 3, and also studied music as one of her A levels. One of her brothers is a singer/song writer and the other is in musical theatre. Incidentally, Hayley taught one of them to play piano herself. Hayley studied Early Childhood Studies at Further Education and has worked as a nanny and in a nursery. She has also studied Psychology and with a lovely sunny personality is very much a "people person".

A THREE WEEK MUSIC COURSE - ABSOLUTELY FREE!

The Music Train Bude, is working in partnership with the local Children’s Centres and libraries to offer a 3 week course absolutely free to families living in Cornwall or Devon

To book in, call 01288 321181 quoting which of the above organisations you have links with.  You will be asked to send a £5 deposit to secure your place, which will be refunded to you in full at the end of the 3 consecutive weeks.

*Offer ends 26th July 2010 and is limited to the places available on the courses.   The goal of the offer is to make local families aware of the high quality musical education available in the area and to provide the opportunity to try it out.  We therefore regret that the offer is not open to existing or previous clients of The Music Train.

Classes will be taking place in Bude on some Tuesdays and Thursdays during the month of August.

Summer Term 2010 Classes

TERM DATES: Monday 26th April - Monday 26th July 2010 with a break for half term w/c 31st May 2010. There will be no classes on Monday 3rd May as this is a Bank Holiday.

April/May 2010: General Topic - Nursery Rhymes Advanced Topic - Chime Bars
June/July 2010: General Topic - Teddy Bears Advanced Topic - Keyboards

Families joining our classes for the very first time are invited to try a single session before deciding whether or not they wish to sign up for the rest of the term. If you do wish to join for the term, an additional £5 registration fee is charged for families that have never previously attended. This is only ever charged once per family and future siblings do not need to pay a registration fee. The fee covers the cost of the welcome pack consisting of a welcome booklet and one child's T-shirt. Additional T-shirts can be purchased for £3.

Cancelled classes

We regret that if classes have to be cancelled due to force majeure such as snow, or on specific medical advice because of the risk posed by swine flu, they cannot be refunded.

Location

The venue is The Parkhouse Centre, Ergue-Gaberic Way, Bude, Cornwall, EX23 8LD. Although the Parkhouse Centre has some limited parking, we advise that you arrive 5 - 10 minutes early in case all the spaces are taken and you need to use the Pay and Display car park next to the building.
